Our goal is to bring fusion electricity to the grid by developing the power stations of tomorrow and the skilled workforce to deliver themJob DescriptionAs Thermal Hydraulics Graduate, you will support applied research in fluid dynamics and heat transfer for fusion and related areas. This includes solving complex thermal-hydraulic problems through simulation or experiment. Your core responsibilities:Develop skills in thermal-hydraulics modelling using computational fluid dynamics and reduced order simulation tools. Develop knowledge and understanding in complex multi physics analysis Perform a variety of technical tasks designed to provide experience & familiarisation with staff, methods, practices, & programs of the Group and wider Division. Develop knowledge and understanding of fusion-relevant topics and apply this learning to assigned projects. Identify areas where improvements could be made to experimental apparatus, process plant systems and operational practices and methodologies.
