Legal Support Assistant – Family DepartmentLocation: HerefordSalary: £24,600 – £27,800OverviewSellick Partnership is proud to be working with a progressive, forward-thinking law firm to recruit a Legal Support Assistant (Paralegal) for their highly regarded Family Department, based in their spacious, modern, open-plan office in Shrewsbury.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skill set quickly, gain valuable legal experience, and benefit from clear career progression opportunities within a supportive and dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level administrative and legal support to fee earners within the Family DepartmentPrepare initial appointment communications and client correspondenceUse DocuSign for electronic signatures where requiredAssist with efficient billing processesSupport with court proceedings, including:Filing applications and documents with the courtPreparing and producing court bundlesMaintain a professional, confidential and friendly approach at all timesDemonstrate strong self-management, initiative and organisational skillsContribute to the smooth running of a busy, team-oriented departmentPerson SpecificationEssential Skills & Experience:Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and able to work across different IT platformsStrong organisational and time-management abilitiesExcellent communication skills with a professional telephone mannerHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environmentDesirable:Previous experience in a legal support, administrative, or professional services role (not essential for the right candidate)Experience working within a Family or Litigation team would be an advantageWhat’s on OfferA supportive and progressive working environmentClear career development opportunitiesExcellent exposure to legal processes and court workModern offices with collaborative team cultureHow to ApplyIf you’re looking to build a long-term career within a respected Family Law team and meet the criteria above, we would love to hear from you.Please contact Sellick Partnership for more information or submit your CV to begin the application process.
