We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, nurturing environment where people can be themselves.Role Responsibilities:Leading highly successful, complex client engagements to achieve strong client satisfaction rating, from project design through to delivery – including management of Alpha team and potentially contractorsDefining approaches to engagements across strategy, operating model, transformation and design to achieve the outcomes required by clientsSupporting C-Suite executives to understand complex problems, and be a trusted adviser to articulate clearly the solutions to these problemsDeveloping strategies to set our clients up for success, and driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and to budgetAnalysing clients' business needs to identify key issues and propose solutions and recommendations, assisting and implementing recommendations to ensure the best use of clients’ resources – both within and beyond immediate project objectivesMonitoring progress, managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress of project and expected outcomes to ensure client efficiencyConducting research, surveys and interviews and discussing organisational problems with clientsBringing together diverse stakeholders to work effectively in partnershipManaging and motivating colleagues, supporting their professional development and maximising their personal effectivenessDeveloping and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, building a respectable profile within your network of new and existing clientsIdentifying and executing appropriate client/ vendor entertainment opportunitiesStaying abreast of Retail & Wealth trends relevant to our client's business, including technology developments and regulatory changesCommunicating Alpha’s proposition and credentials in a compelling and convincing manner, encouraging buy-inMaking a strong contribution towards business developmentUndertaking effective account, financial and risk management across out engagements and clientsRole Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):Deep understanding of distribution within the Life, Pensions, Retail Investments & Wealth sectors (D2C, Financial Advice, Wealth Management, Investment Platforms, Banking)Successful candidates typically have 7-10 years proven experience in the delivery of consulting or change projects, gained within a leading financial institution, technology vendor or consulting firmSignificant experience within Financial Advice and or Wealth Management firms, with deep understanding of their business structure. operating model and technology architectureExperience of Target Operating Models, business processes and/or IT solutions in a selection of the following areas: Lead Acquisition, Client Onboarding, Financial Planning / Wealth Management, Product Fulfilment / Implementation, Back OfficeOperations / outsourcing, Risk & complianceSpecific experience within a selection of the following components of Technology architecture: Client Experience Layer (Journeys, Portal), Adviser / IM Experience (Journeys, Dashboards), CRM / Practice Management, Financial / Wealth PlanningTools (Client Profile, Cashflow, Research/Recommendation, Quotation/Illustration),Data / AI layer, Integration Layer , Investment Platform.Demonstrable proficiency in working with technology, product and operational stakeholders to identify solutions across people, process, data and technology for clientsExperience of performing technology strategy, process optimisation, client journey design, solution design, business case definition, transformation (preferable within the Retail / Wealth sector)Demonstrable proficiency in relationship development and client account management and a proactive interest in contributing to the growth of the practiceA network of executive contacts across the industry and proven experience ofBusiness DevelopmentSenior stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated with clients and colleaguesExcellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, confident at structuring and articulating complex messagesAbility to show initiative when dealing with clients, form strong relationships with new clients, and maintain existing relationshipsThe ability and desire to proffer good mentorship and coaching skills towards other team membersAn in-depth understanding of key topics and themes in the Retail & Wealth industry, with the ability to debate key industry issues with senior clientsStrong academic background (including a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a leading institution) or equivalent professional experience, as well as an aptitude and desire to proactively learn and developBusiness language fluency in EnglishWillingness to travel to client offices, based on requests from client
