Job DescriptionWe're hiring a qualified SMETA Auditor in the UKResponsibilitiesConduct 2 and 4 pillar SMETA auditsRepresent NSF with the designated clientsLogistical, cost effective planning of all assigned auditsDevelop effective audit plans for the completion of assigned audits within a specific timeframeSummarize and evaluate audit findingsCommunicate recorded non-conformances with client site management or appropriate client representativesSubmit audit reports according to scheme requirements and NSF’s defined KPIsEstablish and maintain effective communication with key team members, including audit delivery and key account team membersPerform other duties as requestedQualificationsUniversity-level degree - any subjectAPSCA (Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors) Registered Auditor (RA) or Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA), Lead Social Compliance Auditor training, SA 8000, SMETA or similar experienceLead Auditor qualification, ideally to SA 8000, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or ISO 26000 requirementsKnowledge of and previous working exposure to quality management and technical systemsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including reading, writing and verbal proficiency in English Excellent Microsoft Office skillsGood preparation, organization, planning and record keeping skillsAccurate, methodical and organisedExcellent report writing skills with quick turnaround time (10 days to submit final report from audit closing)Willingness to travel extensivelySound knowledge of applicable labour laws and H&S regulationsUnderstanding and demonstration of competence with the required audit process and methodology relevant to the audit schemesAbility to verify and triangulate information of objective evidence during an audit processAbility to interpret and apply knowledge of relevant laws, standards and systems (management and technical) in practiceAll applicants must submit applicable certificates or proof of completion to be considered.Notice to Agency and Search Firm Representatives: Please note that NSF is not accepting unsolicited resumes from agencies and search firms for this role.
