Join us to collaborate with industry leaders and advance your career in a dynamic, inclusive environment.As an Applied AI & ML Lead in the Market Operations team, you will drive the strategy, design, and delivery of AI/ML solutions that enhance and transform Market Operations. You will lead a team of scientists and engineers, partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders, and ensure the successful implementation and scaling of AI-driven tools. You will identify opportunities, set technical direction, and deliver measurable impact through innovative AI/ML applications. Your leadership will help foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and scaling of advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address operational challengesSet technical vision and strategy for AI/ML initiatives, aligning with business goalsOversee the architecture and deployment of generative AI applications and agents to automate and enhance processesManage and mentor a team of AI/ML scientists and engineers, fostering innovation and collaborationEnsure production-grade AI/ML applications and tools are built, maintained, and optimizedEstablish best practices for monitoring, evaluating, and improving solution performanceGuide the analysis of large and complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities for automationEngage with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutionsChampion documentation of methodologies, results, and best practices for knowledge sharingStay up to date with the latest AI/ML advancements and apply relevant techniques to business problemsRepresent the team in cross-functional forums and communicate technical concepts clearlyRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsBSc/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience)Leadership experience in AI/ML, including leading teams and projects from conception to productionStrong foundation in AI/ML concepts and practical experience with data analysis, feature engineering, and model developmentExperience working with large, complex datasets and applying statistical analysisHands-on experience training, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environmentsProficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)Experience with MLOps practices and tools for managing the machine learning lifecycleExperience building and deploying Generative AI applications, including familiarity with LLMOpsExposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as a leader within cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to senior business stakeholders and non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsPhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related fieldExperience in financial services, banking, or Market Operations environmentsExperience leading AI/ML initiatives in a regulated industryJoin us to help shape the future of Market Operations through innovative AI and ML solutions at one of the world’s leading financial institutions.About UsJ.P.
