The position is initially offered on a 12 month full time contract / temporary basis. The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a dynamic and motivated workforce. Make an impactProvide first line support for line managers, staff and external contacts and to regularly meet line managers to discuss issues and support as and when requiredSupport managers in the recruitment of their staff advising on the most appropriate recruitment methods, manage the relationship with the talent acquisition team, agencies, web-based recruitment providers and attending interviews where appropriateInvolvement with UK and regional strategic human resources improvement initiativesAttend regular meetings with the UK senior management teamEnsure the performance management process is enforced and objectives are set for all employeesTo keep appraised of changes to new working practices and changes in legislation and ensure where appropriate managers are briefed of these changes.
