Cyber Security Specialist - Security Assurance Coordinator (SAC)Location: Corsham Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + TAX FREE ANNUAL BONUS + excellent company benefits Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you must hold an SC Clearance minimum and be eligible for DV clearanceNexGen Associates are currently working with an established IT Consultancy client who work within the government and defence verticals. They are now looking to take on an experienced Cyber Security Assurance specialist to join their team.As a Cyber Security Assurance Specialist within the Security Assurance team, you will work closely with external stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the wider security function. You will be responsible for supporting the production and delivery of a range of MoD accreditation reports.Main duties:Ensuring project compliance to MOD JSP Policy and guidelinesEnsure that cyber and information security controls are properly embedded within project on the implementation and operation of security measuresProviding technical security support from project startStakeholder managementConstruction of accreditation documentationRisk identification and managementRequired Skills:Information Security Standards and technical knowledgeMOD Accreditation policy and practicesUnderstanding of MOD Security Policy FrameworkExperience developing RMADs and SyOPsExperience of managing risk at programme and project levelExperience at applying different risk modelsProven management of compliance with standards and frameworksStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to engage and influence internal and external stakeholdersExperience working within the Defence sectorCISM OR CISSP qualified ideally but not essential
