Salary: £52,600

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for providing technical support during product development, with clear understanding of the product, risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies associated with the productsManaging a team, Providing day-to-day Line ManagementDriving and coordinating collaboration with team members, multi-disciplinary internal specialists, and external partnersDriving the adoption and use of good Systems Engineering practices and associated Industry Standards where possibleEnsuring products delivered are qualified, certified and safety assuredDelivery of projects to time, cost and quality requirements

Your skills and experiences:

Systems Engineering experienceA degree in STEM subject or background/previous experienceExperience integrating activities across various teams and stakeholdersSome knowledge of Engineering Principles and Engineering Product Lifecycle

Mission Systems Engineering team:

There is a requirement for a number of Senior Mission Systems Engineers to join highly skilled, professional teams within the Mission Systems Community. We are looking for people to be involved in future strategy and new technology for future combat systems, supporting the development of the legacy platforms such as Typhoon. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology focusing on the forefront of new technology and the chance to work with the customer, Partners and/or Suppliers
