Taylor Woodrow is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Digital Engineer to join our team at our Watford HQ. This exciting role is perfect for someone who has a passion for advancing digital engineering and construction technology while helping to shape the future of the industry.

Duties

  • Lead the digital engineering function within the team, managing workloads and delivering solutions across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement and enhance digital capabilities such as BIM, GIS, and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
  • Drive the integration of emerging technologies, such as drones, into project workflows.
  • Oversee the delivery of digital engineering solutions and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, building their skills and contributing to the overall growth and capability of the team

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a similar role within engineering or design, preferably with a focus on Virtual Design and Construction.
  • Familiarity with BIM, GIS, and drone technology is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and coordinating small teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
