Teaching Opportunity at Hillingdon Manor School

We are seeking an experienced and qualified teacher to join our close-knit team at Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils.

About the Role

This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 classes consisting of pupils aged between 11 and 13. We welcome applications from candidates with QTS status, whether their experience is in Primary or Secondary Teaching.

Responsibilities
  • To take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop.
  • To work with support staff within the classroom to ensure each pupil gets the support they require and to ensure the smooth running of sessions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience teaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils with complex additional needs.
  • Experience teaching and planning fun and engaging sessions.
  • UK QTS or QTLS.

Hillingdon Manor provides specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3-19. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and all pupils work towards a variety of qualifications dependent on their needs and ability.

Salary and Bonus

The salary is £00 per annum (DoE) plus a Welcome Bonus of £2000, payable as £1000 upon successfully passing Probation (month 6) and a further £1000 upon completing 12 months continuous employment.
