Job DescriptionCandidate SpecificationPersonal Attributes·Ability to take decisions and demonstrate accountability and integrityAbility be an active and participating team member, able to transfer skills to others in order to achieve business objectivesAbility to troubleshoot and strategize in order to meet the long-term vision of the companyProblem solver and target driven individualAbility to deliver required results while working in a high pressure environmentTechnical SpecificationExperience RequiredExperience in a similar roleEssential QualificationsEUSR water hygiene cardCompetent in using Microsoft Word & ExcelDesirable QualificationsCompetent in using Microsoft projectRole PurposeTo produce project tender packages for existing and new clients within the water industryRole SummaryInterpreting the project brief and producing a pricing schedule capturing all scope requiredResearching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour and equipmentConducting site visits with the supply chain as required in order to obtain quotesObtaining and assessing quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frameLiaising with the project controls team to build a tender programme for the works to ensure adequate project preliminaries are appliedAssessing the risk levels associated with the project and ensuring adequate risk is applied to price and programmePreparing and presenting tender quotations internally for review and approvalPreparing and presenting tender quotations to the client.Assisting with bids for new contracts/frameworksAssisting with handover to the project delivery team and supporting the activities of buyers where requiredWorking collaboratively with all other departments and supporting senior managers within the businessCarry out any other duties appropriate to this post
