A1 Jobs are recruiting for x 2 Mechanical Fitters to join our client on a 6 month projectMechanical Fitter (Argyle & Bute) Excellent hourly rate********VALID SC CLEARANCE ESSENTIAL******** Roles and responsibilitiesDay to day investigation and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining mechanical aspects of facilities.Carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of mechanical systems.Defect identification and repair.Typical systems worked on will include, heating, ventilation, generators, and compressors as well as pressure systems and other mechanical equipment and plantEssential requirementsProven experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance gained within an industrial or commercial environment.Ability to read and understand engineering drawingsWorks in a safe manner - able to understand statements of work, risk assessments, etcComfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasionQualificationsRecognised mechanical apprenticeshipQualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City and Guilds, HNC etc)Hours of workMinimum of 37 hours per week, shifts, and overtime availableJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 6 monthsPay: £39.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 6 monthsPay: £39.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 36 per week
