Using only the finest and freshest ingredients from local suppliers, they are committed to delivering an exciting choice of food that doesn't cost the earth, whilst ensuring sustainability is at the heart of everything they do.Mellors Mission: Top quality service and food create happy and successful peopleThe Key Requirements: Assist the Catering Manager in managing catering unitsProvide relief for Catering Managers who are on holiday or off sick, ensuring the provision of full catering, vending, and extensive hospitality servicesConduct disciplinary investigations as necessaryAct as an ambassador for our client, promoting a positive image at all timesAssist with the training and development of employeesManage teams, including performance management, training and development, absence management, and disciplinary action if requiredSupport the training of managers to help them achieve budgets and other company targetsDevelop and maintain professional client relationships, ensuring client demands are met and exceededEnsure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulationsAdhere to existing and new working practises, methods, and proceduresAssist with stocktaking and conduct unit audits when requiredComplete all necessary unit paperwork to company standardsKeep track of working hours by completing timesheetsMeet company deadlines while working at any contractInduct and train new staff membersParticipate in ongoing training and developmentCarry out ad hoc duties as directed by the Area ManagerRecommend operational efficiencies and improvementsFull driving license and own vehicleFrom time to time, the company may ask you to work outside of your usual location and working hours. Therefore, flexibility is a must for this role.
