Purification Shift Technician

THE POSITION

Purification Shift Technician - Perm

The purpose of the job is large scale purification of antigen used in FMD and BTV vaccine production, fully respecting UK and BI HSE, GMP and bio-security regulations.

This is a fully site based role.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacturing of purified antigen for production

• Operate and maintain process plant

• Laboratory duties

• Data recording

• Working with other staff

• Cleaning duties

• Continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• Good IT skills

• Ability to work autonomously, safely and methodically

• Experience of operating industrial scale manufacturing plant under a quality system is essential

• Good interpersonal skills

• Results focused with the ability of being flexible to change

• Being a force of proposition in resolving problems

• Multitasking and cross functional capabilities
