They are looking for someone who is keen to learn and will take ownership of their position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate a team of engineers across multiple shifts to ensure consistent coverage and responsiveness.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational issues within the cloud infrastructure.
- Drive key technical projects aimed at enhancing system performance, infrastructure efficiency, and operational stability.
- Support cross-team initiatives, collaborating closely with other departments to align infrastructure projects with business goals.
- Contribute to R&D efforts aimed at identifying and implementing improvements in cloud infrastructure.
- Evaluate new technologies and practices to enhance system performance and better meet evolving client needs.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards, including ISO27001.`
- Provide expert technical guidance on complex issues and support incident resolution processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and incident resolution processes.
- Ensure adherence to change management and control procedures, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing a technical support team in a cloud infrastructure environment.
- Extensive knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong experience in 2nd and 3rd Line Support, with expertise in incident management.
- Proficient with infrastructure monitoring tools and incident ticketing systems.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and industry standards, particularly ISO27001 compliance.
