We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GMP Production Operative to join an expanding manufacturing team based in Rochester. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of their production processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to GMP guidelines and regulations to maintain high standards of quality and safety in the production environment
  • Operate production equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Perform inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of production data
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance in production operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP-regulated industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills
  • Understanding of GMP principles and practices is highly desirable
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.There is also a night shift opportunity at the same company working 12 hours nights 6pm - 6am.This particular role will start as a temporary position but will go permanent after successful 3 month probation period.This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about maintaining high quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
