Automation Test Lead // Greater Manchester // Up to £75,000 + benefits


The role has 3 main elements to it. Strategy, Leadership, and Automation.


You will collaborate with the Head of Engineering to continue to define manual and automation test strategies, lead a medium sized team including line management of other testers, and lead from the from front when helping the business introduce and adopt more Test Automation across their development practices.

To be considered:

  • Worked in (at least) a Senior QA role and have experience mentoring and coaching other colleagues.


  • Understand manual and automation test strategies, and have had responsibility for defining them previously, even if in collaboration with others.


  • Automation experience. You need to have built Test Automation frameworks previously from scratch.


  • Worked in a fast-paced environment with regular releases. Experience in ecommerce or other similar industries is ideal


  • Experience working in an agile environment


You are a very strong candidate if you also have:

  • Experience with Load / performance testing


  • Experience of mobile testing and automation
