Job role: Senior Creative

Reporting to: the Associate Creative Director

Department: Creative

Location: Hybrid / Leeds


About the job:

As a Senior Creative, you will be instrumental in bringing to life the innovative visions outlined by our Associate Creative Director. Your role involves creating compelling visual narratives and executing creative concepts with precision. You will work closely with the ACD to produce engaging campaigns, especially within the retail sector, while embodying the company's commitment to sustainability and strategic excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

Creative Execution: Collaborate with the ACD to translate strategic visions into tangible creative outputs. Craft compelling designs and narratives for our key retail clients.

Project Contribution: Play a central role in the creative development phase of campaigns, ensuring they resonate with our target audience while aligning with our sustainability ethos.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver cohesive and innovative creative solutions. Provide input and support to cross-functional project teams as needed.

Brand Advocate: Ensure that all creative work reinforces the client's brand strategy and is on-brand, fresh, and forward-thinking.

Professional Development: Seek ongoing professional growth and education to remain at the forefront of design trends, particularly in the retail industry.


Person specification:


Skills

  • Expertise in design principles and creative execution, with the ability to produce visually stunning work.
  • Proficiency in the latest design software and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate creative concepts and collaborate effectively with the creative team and other departments


Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of creative experience within an agency setting, ideally with a focus on retail.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative work, from concept to final execution.
  • Experience working under the guidance of an ACD or Creative Director, with a track record of contributing to successful campaigns.


Attitude

  • A deep passion for creativity and a drive to produce work that makes a difference.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to learn from others and contribute to a team environment.
  • A commitment to incorporating sustainable practices into creative work.


Personal situation

  • For candidates residing in or near Leeds, attendance at the office is expected for 2-3 days each week.
  • For those living further away, office visits are required at least once or twice per month.
  • Willing and able to travel as required for client meetings and team sessions.
  • Flexible to meet project demands, which may include occasional extended hours.
