Position: Finance Manager; 3-5 days per week


Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Responsibilities:

·      Production of monthly management accounts

·      Preparation of annual accounts

·      Credit control and cash-flow management

·      Statutory Returns

·      Quarterly & Monthly VAT Returns

·      Manage all phases of accounts payable and receivable

·      Payroll and personnel administration

·      Multi-currency, multi-account bank reconciliation

·      Workplace pension administration

·      Purchase invoice processing and sales invoice supervision

·      Stock control & Stock Valuation

·      Product costings

·      Budget preparation, forecasting, control and monitoring.

·      Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities

·      Payroll preparation and administration

·      Coordinate accounting software update and migration


Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:

  • ACA/CIMA Qualified
  • 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a retail or Ecommerce background
  • Familiarity with accounting and payroll software packages (XERO)
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Organised and a strong communicator
