Metal Spinner/CNC Turner - Newcastle upon Tyne - £17.06/hr - Permanent plus excellent pension and bonus
With a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, you'll be at the forefront of manufacturing excellence, contributing to the production of components that are integral to a wide range of industries.
Operate PNC/CNC Leifeld spin lathes to spin form and CNC turn components ranging from 100mm to 3000mm in diameter across various material grades and thicknesses.
Conduct precise inspections of products, ensuring they meet tight tolerance requirements using manual and portable inspection equipment.
Collaborate with Tool Preparation Operatives for timely provision of materials and tooling, enhancing production efficiency.
Engage in the creation and amendment of setup procedures, setting up CNC machines within target times and producing components within agreed cycle times.
Maintain effective communication with the Cell Leader and/or Supervisor regarding daily production activities.
Proven experience in metal spinning and CNC operation, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
