Title: Experienced FPGA Verification Engineer needed for Remote Contract in ElectronicsIntroductory Paragraph: An electronics company is seeking a skilled FPGA Verification Engineer for a 3-4 month remote contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying digital designs using VHDL/Verilog with tools like ModelSim, QuestaSim, VCS or Xsim.Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with VHDL/Verilog
  • Proven proficiency in large-scale verification projects
  • Experience using simulation tools like ModelSim/QuestaSim/VCS/Xsim
Skills: The ideal candidate must have knowledge and skills in:
  1. Problem-solving abilities to design test plans ensuring functional coverage.
  2. Implementing assertions within the codebase to identify bugs early-on during testing cycles.
  3. Ability to collaborate closely with other engineering teams throughout the development life cycle.
  4. Strong communication skills (written/oral) to communicate project progress regularly between internal stakeholders.
