Supply Chain Planner

Location – Borough (3 days per week in office)

Salary - £35 to 45k

Responsibilities:

  • Managing third-party logistics providers to ensure optimal product availability in our distribution centers across the UK and EU.
  • Your key tasks will include production planning, material planning, maintaining accurate master data, managing stock movements and adjustments, creating Bill of Materials, and overseeing version control in the newly implemented ERP software.
  • It is essential to avoid stock outs and generate purchase orders in accordance with lead times. Additionally, the role involves creating sales orders in the system, provided there are no customer interfaces in place.
  • Preparation of collections and deliveries, along with all accompanying paperwork, is a critical aspect of this position.
  • Adherence to deadlines, development of project management schedules, and agile work on multiple projects are vital.
  • As part of a growing and evolving supply chain team, a focus on continuous improvement to simplify processes and maximize efficiencies is expected.
  • The role will initially operate as a generalist, with responsibilities being identified and refined as the team expands over the next six months.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Attentive to material specifications, dimensions, logistical requirements, and batches to prevent errors.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including cloud-based solutions requiring occasional workarounds.
  • Skilled in data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
