Job Description

Assistant Accountant

Feltham Full time - £30-35k pa

Due to growth I am supporting a progressive, exciting business in Feltham to recruit a permanent Assistant Accountant. This is an on-site role where you will join a great team and culture, while reporting into a fantastic Financial Controller.

Assistant Accountant Duties:

  • Process invoices and credit notes promptly in Accounts Payable, matching them with purchase orders and following up on outstanding invoices and supplier queries.
  • Manage proforma invoices by ensuring timely payments, receiving tax invoices from suppliers, and accurately allocating them in the system.
  • Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle credit cards and expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Support month-end tasks, including bank postings and reconciliations, to facilitate timely financial reporting.
  • Contribute to improving systems and processes for greater efficiency in purchase orders, invoices, and payments.

The successful candidate will live local to the offices in Feltham, be experienced in the duties listed above and have an excellent attention to detail.
