Job Description

Albany Beck are hiring for a Claims Business Analyst to work on a long term programme of work with a global insurance firm. This will be working on the Blueprint 2 Project and is the bridge between the business requirements and technology.


We are looking for a Claims Business Analyst to play a key role in enhancing claims end-to-end processing efficiency and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the business are accurately communicated to the BP2 technology team, which will drive key enhancements to the claims process.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with claims teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined workflows.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the BP2 project team, ensuring that all requirements are clearly understood and properly implemented.
  • Work closely with market participants (brokers, claims administrators, and suppliers) to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for BP2, specifically focused on open market and delegated market claims.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the London Market claims process, with a particular focus on open market and delegated market claims.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for claims processing systems and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of claims systems, contributing to the development and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing of claims systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of claims processes, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to claims staff on new processes, systems, and enhancements.


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and experience within the London Market, with a focus on claims management (open market and delegated market).
  • Familiarity with the Blueprint 2 (BP2) project, even if it is through research or prior exposure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, brokers, claims administrators, and external suppliers.
  • Experience in documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience recording minutes and managing follow-ups from meetings.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
