Job Description

As an accomplished Air Conditioning Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a renowned company that values skill and training.

Randstad Construction & Property are partnering with a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team covering Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across various sites.

Location: Glasgow

Salary:Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

An average day will involve:

  • Carrying out small works installations and repairs to the highest standards.
  • Undertaking PPM, proactive, and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensuring equipment operates within specified performance criteria.
  • Evaluating performance and ensuring proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • Taking a proactive approach to client liaison and ensuring concerns are addressed or referred to management as necessary.
  • Staying aware of contractual requirements and customer needs.
  • Managing administration requirements and maintaining accurate records and documents.
  • Providing callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
Requirements

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A full UK driving license.
  • Install experience.
  • Formal Apprenticeship and formal trade qualifications in an electrical field.
  • NVQ 6187 in refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  • FGAS qualification.
  • City & Guilds - 2079 safe handling of refrigerants.
