Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Sewing Machinist at 1st Coverall Co Ltd in Maidstone. The Sewing Machinist will be responsible for operating sewing machines to carry out alterations to workwear garments such as boilersuits, work trousers, and coats. Attention to detail and precision are key aspects of this role to ensure high-quality finished products.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating sewing machines and stitching garments
  • Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
  • Experience in garment construction and tailoring
  • Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in embroidery or garment embellishment is a plus
  • Training or certification in sewing and tailoring is beneficial
