Job Vacancy: Mathematics Teacher (Secondary)
Contract: Full-Time
Simply Education are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring their academic progress while fostering a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning environment. The role offers a dynamic teaching environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work alongside a dedicated team of educators to inspire and support students in their mathematical journey, ensuring they achieve their full potential in preparation for further education or careers.
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality mathematics lessons that cater to the needs of all students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and resource planning.
- Attend school events, staff training, and professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in regular assessments and reporting.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
- Strong knowledge of the secondary mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies that support student achievement.
- A passion for teaching mathematics and inspiring students to excel in the subject.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
