System Quality Assurance Engineer


Salary: £45,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Bolton (Relocation package may be available)

Hybrid Working: 1-2 days per week on-site

Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or Dual UK National.

We’re seeking a Product Quality Specialist to lead the evolution of our quality management tools and processes, driving innovation through technology and proactive collaboration.

This role places you at the heart of quality enhancement, engaging with engineering, manufacturing, and management teams to implement new software tools, data-driven strategies, and predictive analytics. Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert support on quality assurance processes, SAP systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, perform security checks, and drive the effective use of our systems.
  • Lead the development, testing, and deployment of tools and dashboards for quality management and business intelligence.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage software releases, document changes, and communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Lead corrective action initiatives using data-driven insights to enhance quality and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage configurations and customizations in SAP/QM, supporting SAP HANA migration efforts.
  • Contribute to global process harmonization, helping shape a cohesive quality assurance strategy across international teams.
  • Explore AI and advanced analytics to develop new solutions for quality management challenges.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in product quality management
  • Familiarity with aerospace or defense engineering (preferred, but not essential)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP QM/SAP HANA, with experience in project and change management (beneficial but not required)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven
