We work on behalf of large homecare and pharmaceutical companies, and NHS Trusts, helping to make our patient s lives a little easier every day.

Our drivers work at the heart of our business and have a significant role in delivering temperature-controlled medication to people s homes, hospitals and pharmacies across the UK. Ensuring that our patients receive their medication correctly and on time will contribute significantly towards their overall health. It could mean the difference between a transplant patient not rejecting their new organ or it could mean that someone doesn t miss their last chance to start a family through fertility treatment. Our drivers are special because they are vital to the health of our patients and make a significant difference to the healthcare system in the UK. This is not your usual, multi drop driver role

What will I be doing?

  • Collecting, delivering and safely transporting prescriptions, and temperature controlled medication;
  • Inspecting your delivery vehicle for any maintenance needs, reporting any mechanical issues;
  • Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle;
  • Ensuring that your deliveries are made within expected timescales on the pre-planned routes;
  • Ensuring that correct safety procedures are always adhered to, both on site and during deliveries;
  • Working as a team with your fellow drivers and managers to ensure that the job gets carried out professionally and efficiently;
  • Ensuring that all operations are carried out in line with UK and EU laws and regulations;

  • Ensuring our patients receive an exceptional level of customer service, highlighting any concerns and following through any anomalies.

What will I receive?

  • £27,495 per annum based on a 45 hour per week permanent contract working between Monday to Saturday, working five days out of six, plus additional overtime. 40 hour week contracts also considered.
  • 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
  • Ability to use the company van to drive between your home and the depot on your working days.

What experience do I need?

  • Previous multi drop driving experience;
  • Excellent geographical knowledge;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • The ability to think logically and have strong organisational skills;
  • Be reliable, punctual and able to nurture good working relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • Empathy and compassion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • The ability to follow a simple doorstop procedure to ensure confidentiality and the integrity of the medication.
  • Live within 10 miles of the Depot

You will need to have had a full UK Driving Licence for at least three years, with no more than 6 points. A conditional offer of employment is subject to strict DBS and reference checks, if you have any criminal convictions, please make the company aware at interview stage.
