This role would be ideal for someone who possesses a proactive and confident approach and is looking to expand on their previous analytical knowledge. The role has the potential to grow into a more senior analyst role in the future, with progression readily available.You will be working closely with the Finance Director and wider team, to produce timely analysis and accurate performance reporting. You'll also have scope to work on projects and be encouraged to identify opportunities as and when they present.Some responsibilities of the Commercial Finance Analyst includeProvide business analysis to support optimal decison making by directors and management teamsConduct deal reviews. Check pricing vs agreed contracts/pricingPrepare Business Partner trackers to monitor performance vs agreed targetsMonitor performance indicatorsAssist in the development of financial modelling, scenario planning and business case preparation to assist with strategic decisonsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholdersAd-hoc reporting and analysisThe Ideal Commercial Finance Analyst will be:Will be a confident, motivated individual with strong communication skills.Either qualified or Studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalentStrong persuasion, influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues.Organised and who has a strong attention to detail.Advanced Excel skillsIf you believe you have the necessary skills ambition and experience for the Assistant Finance Business Partner position, please apply now, or contact Harry Mellor at Sellick Partnership.
