Location: Halesowen (Office-based)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + commission structure

Hours: 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Autoserve is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Telesales Manager to launch and lead a brand-new telesales department. This is a unique opportunity to build a high-performing team and play a key role in driving business growth.


Role Overview:

The Telesales Manager will play a crucial role in establishing this new department. For the first three months, you will work directly in telesales, engaging with potential customers to fully understand the role, customer needs, and operational challenges. Following this period, your focus will shift to recruiting, training, and managing a telesales team to meet ambitious targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls during the first three months to develop a deep understanding of the role and customer pain points.
  • Identify challenges in the telesales process and implement solutions to improve efficiency and results.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing telesales team.
  • Set team targets, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and achieve department goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align the department’s objectives with the overall business strategy.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telesales, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Prior management experience, with the ability to recruit and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to understanding and improving the sales process.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous but not essential.
