You’re an experienced procurement professional with a proven track record of delivering strategic value, driving innovation, and building exceptional teams. What You’ll Achieve:


As Head of Procurement, you will:

  • Lead with Vision: Develop and manage a high-performing Corporate Procurement team, setting ambitious targets and inspiring excellence.
  • Strategize for Success: Craft and execute a procurement strategy that delivers best value commercially while aligning with our social value and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with Purpose: Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, gaining their trust and support to implement innovative strategies.
  • Champion Compliance and Best Practice: Ensure adherence to legislation and internal policies, and pioneer best-in-class procurement methodologies, including cutting-edge e-tendering solutions.
  • Inspire Professional Growth: Chair the Procurement Forum and mentor procurement talent across the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Drive Supplier Excellence: Optimise supplier relationships, manage contracts effectively, and create processes that maximise value throughout the lifecycle of agreements.
  • Empower Through Training: Deliver engaging and practical procurement training to elevate the skills of CSG staff involved in purchasing and contract management.

What We Require :

  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) or equivalent experience
  • An excellent technical appreciation of the range of procurement regulations applicable to CSG businesses
  • Ability to negotiate at the highest levels to secure best value
  • Expert knowledge of the Procurement Act and Public Contract Regulations
  • Private and Public sector experience
