T here are 2 roles, fully remote across anywhere in Europe, with a flexible start date but ideally early in 2025.

The role is a 50:50 FE:BE position.

The company are not able to sponsor.

Salary is between €60 - 100k (about £50 - 83k). This is quite a big range as they're open to different experience levels, with existing team members in the middle of this bracket. If you join at €85k+ you'll be one of the more Senior members on this team.

If you're in the UK and France then you will be on PAYE, but anywhere else is a B2B arrangement with as many benefits included as possible for you.

⚙️ Tech stack : Node, Vue (they're open to React or Angular too), TypeScript, NoSQL

Other tools you will use, that aren't a requirement are:

  • Single Page Apps, ShareDB and LaTeX, CSS pre-processors, build-chain and deployment automation tools, such as Webpack/ GitHub Actions

✨ Join a thriving, tech for good business who are at the peak of their journey. They're a market leader in their industry despite only being founded 10 years ago and are constantly building new features to keep their product at the front of innovation.

The project : They are hiring on to a specific team that have built an online editing, sharing and project management tool specifically for amateur and professional authors, proofreaders, and editors.

You will be involved in building new, premium features for this part of the platform, which will be subscription based and a key revenue stream for the business.

They're hoping to hire someone who is upper-mid to senior level. To them this usually looks like around 4 years of experience and upwards. They also really like exposure to start-up environments and evidence that someone wants to stick around to make a long term impact (they are very understanding that there have been lots of redundancies recently).

Team size : 3 people on the full stack Node team, with other Software Engineers in the business using Ruby on Rails. The Node team will be growing consistently throughout 2025.
