Job Description

Due to a number of recent business wins my client, a leading UK Pension specialist, currently seek an experience Defined Benefit technician to support its administration function with complex member / scheme enquiries. Duties will include:


  • Act as a main point of referral for complex cases
  • Identify areas of concern in the administration function (training, regulatory, processes and procedures, scheme changes) and propose solutions
  • Provide technical support to Administration Managers
  • Use interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally
  • Provide input into scheme projects, new client on-boarding and identifying efficiencies


Applicants must possess strong Defined Benefit knowledge including the full range of complex manual calculations. You will also be comfortable using Excel to an above average level and possess sound regulatory knowledge of the pension sector. Strong communication skills are key with the ability to explain complex scenarios to junior colleagues as well as help them develop their technical knowledge.
