Albanwise Farming West Norfolk is a modern diverse farming business cropping 8000 acres, with a rotation of cereals, alongside sugar beet, forage maize, grain maize, vining peas, beans and sunflowers. Following restructure within the farming business, our West Norfolk farm requires a new operator to work alongside our existing team. The position is suited to a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail. Duties will include but are not limited to: • Sole operator of a new 500hp articulated tractor, responsible for all maintenance and upkeep • Cultivations - Horsch Tiger, TWB Subsoiler, Farmet Fantom and others. Establishment of cover and catch crops. Maintenance of machinery used is a key part of the position • Ploughing - 9 furrow Kverneland RN semi-mounted • Spray bowser support • Fertiliser spreader support and logistics • General estate maintenance - verge mowing, drain jetting etc This is a varied and exciting place to work and requires someone who is willing to turn their hand to other tasks. Applicants should have experience of large-scale farming and machinery, with a high standard of fieldwork. Forklift certification, counterbalance, PA1,2,4,6 and any other qualifications all considered an advantage.
