We are searching for a long-term, dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the vibrant team at a wonderful Primary school in Plymouth.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations, providing feedback to guide their improvement.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment by setting clear expectations, using positive reinforcement, and managing student behavior effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, achievements, and any concerns, fostering a collaborative approach to student development
  • Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback, and make adjustments to improve instructional effectiveness and student outcomes
  • Ensure that the curriculum is delivered effectively, meeting all educational standards and guidelines set by the school and educational authorities

An ideal applicant has to:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Essential for this role)
  • Have Right to work in the UK
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Provide 2 proven professional references
  • Proven success in teaching KS2
  • A knack for making learning fun and engaging
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • A commitment to engaging and inspiring young learners
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
