Join our team as a Mobile Service Engineer, where you’ll be on the front lines, ensuring scrap metal machinery operates smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities: Hydraulics & Electrical Repair: Apply your hydraulic expertise and electrical troubleshooting skills to repair and maintain various scrap processing machinery, such as shredders, balers, shears, and crushers.Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring machinery reliability and longevity.On-Site Service: Travel to client sites across the region/country to provide efficient, professional service with occasional overnight stays.Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance on best practices for equipment care.What We’re Looking For: Hydraulics Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems are essential for this role.Electrical Knowledge: Ability to diagnose and fix common electrical faults on heavy machinery.Welding Skills: Welding and fabrication experience is highly advantageous for this position.Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience in mobile service roles, ideally with scrap or heavy machinery.Physically Fit: The role requires physical stamina to handle machinery parts and operate in various environments.Flexible Travel: Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.Full, Clean Driving License: Essential for the role.Benefits: Competitive salary based on 40 hours a week which is paid door to door - overtime thereafter and a 9% employer pension contribution and 25 days paid holiday.
