Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced MEP Lead to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate MEP design and implementation for projects from inception to completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor MEP engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Design Oversight: Review and approve MEP designs, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all MEP installations comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing project budgets related to MEP works.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, specifications, and project changes.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum (X years) of experience in MEP design and project management, with a focus on (specific industries, e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
  • Certifications: (Relevant certifications, e.g., LEED, PMP, etc.)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
