Job Description

This premiere US firm has one of the leading securitisation and structured finance practices in the London and New York market.


A new partner (ranked in L500) has joined their London office today, specialising in complex funding structures backed directly and indirectly by commercial real estate (CRE) dept; so the firm is looking to hire across all levels due to the increasing workflow.


You will be advising mainly borrowers, alternative investment funds, asset managers and insurance company investors on CRE back-leverage in all of UK, US and European Structures. The work will include private securitisation funding lines, warehouse lending, ABL facilities and the acquisition and financing of performing and non-performing loan portfolios using securitisation and structured lending technique s, while you will also have the opportunity to work on fund finance matters.


This is an opportunity to join an elite US firm best known for its securitisation & structured finance practices, with the firm being constantly featured in legal directories and 90% of the partners being ranked in both L500 and Chambers. Lean structures, softer-culture and cravath pay are also beneficial elements of the role.


You would need to be a Qualified Lawyer or expected to qualify by March 2025 after completing a UK training contract, with experience in some of the finance areas outlined above. Open to considering common law jurisdiction candidates, with preference of some London-based work.
