Position: Drug Discovery Program Leader

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Experience Required: Ph.D. in Biology (or related field) + 5 years program/project leadership

Specialization: Immuno-oncology (preferred)

Role Overview

As a Drug Discovery Program Leader, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams driving fast-paced drug discovery programs from target identification through preclinical development. You’ll collaborate closely with AI scientists, biologists, and other experts to manage and guide high-priority projects. This is a hybrid role with flexibility, but you’ll need to be available in our central London office regularly to work directly with the team and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage drug discovery programs, ensuring efficient progress and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, biology, chemistry) to align project objectives
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and budgets, adapting plans as needed to meet targets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project status, presenting updates to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Integrate the latest findings in immuno-oncology, biology, and AI to guide strategic decision-making


Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Oncology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading drug discovery programs or projects
  • Strong background in immuno-oncology is a distinct advantage
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
