An exciting opportunity has opened up for two Market Development Managers to join a global business that operates within an innovative, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. If you are passionate about technical sales and market analysis, this role offers the perfect platform to apply your skills and make a tangible impact.


In this role, you will take ownership of identifying technical gaps in the market, analysing both market trends and internal pipelines, and working directly with customers to test hypotheses and develop solutions. You will collaborate closely with a concept engineer, responsible for prototyping solutions based on the gaps you identify, as well as a highly skilled team specialising in design, prototyping, testing, and product development.

The Role:

  • Identify and analyse technical gaps in the market, providing innovative solutions to address them
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review the product pipeline and identify new market opportunities
  • Engage with customers to test market hypotheses and validate assumptions
  • Work alongside engineers to develop prototypes that address market needs
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, contributing to strategic market development efforts



The Person:

  • Strong background in technical sales, market analysis, or business development
  • Demonstrated success in spotting market opportunities and turning insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience working with engineering teams to convert market demands into prototypes and products
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in analysing market trends and presenting complex concepts in a clear and compelling way
