You are a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a new challenge? Are you seeking a company that offers upskilling and training opportunities?

We are a leading global facilities management organisation, seeking an exceptional, time-served Electrician with commercial experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintenance and minor remedial tasks within existing Facilities Management contracts.

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity working at a static site based near York Train Station.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responding to and completing planned, reactive, and repair work onsite
  • Carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability
  • Responding to call-outs if on-call (as determined by the rota)
  • Using your initiative to evaluate performance and ensure equipment is serviced and maintained
  • Complying with health and safety policies/legislation
  • Providing excellent customer service to peers and contract holders

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold a recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification demonstrating competence and understanding of the works involved
  • 18th edition qualified
  • City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
  • Full clean, UK driving licence
  • Experience working within FM or building maintenance industry
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
