The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting practical lessons, helping students build confidence, and promoting a healthy interest in food and nutrition.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Food Technology teacher in delivering engaging and practical lessons that align with the Curriculum for Wales.Assist students with hands-on cooking activities, ensuring safety and effective learning outcomes.Help set up and organize the classroom for practical lessons, managing materials, equipment, and ingredients.Support students’ individual learning needs, providing encouragement and guidance to enhance their confidence and skills.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting teamwork, hygiene, and respect for health and safety guidelines.About YouThe ideal candidate is a Teaching Assistant with experience in Food Technology who is passionate about working with students and has a practical knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
