Export Clerk

We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading manufacturing business who have ambitious plans to expand throughout 2025. They are looking to recruit a Export Clerk for their offices based close to Tuxford. • Good GCSE/A-Level results, especially in basic skills such as Maths and English, is required.
• Must be willing to learn new legislations and regulations, new procedures, new systems and adapt fast to the changes.
• Previous experience is essential
• Being able to demonstrate good administrative skills and previous employment in a clerical role may be sufficient.
• Would suit a: Payroll Clerk, Export Clerk, Administrator, Sales Order Administrator or Production Administrator.

The Role:

• Creating dispatch paperwork.
• Maintaining the relevant in-house systems.
• Communication to required network and carrier partners.
• Communicate with head office and arrange invoicing on shipment.
• Ensure procedures and policies are followed.
• Track and trace necessary documentation to have all customs related processes in order.
• Log necessary information into port systems and customs software in very sensitive timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy up to the best standard.
• Engage with various departments across the group, to ensure all shipments are completed in an efficient way.
• Engage with customers and suppliers as necessary to fulfil business needs.
• Assisting with international freight documentation.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and queries.
• Answering phone calls.
• Any related admin processes
• Support weighbridge with the weighing of shipments.
• Liaise with dispatch for accurate loading information.
• Prepare and send samples to customers.
• Communicate with the veterinary services regarding shipments.
• Attend any events deemed appropriate by the company.

This role is an office based role and you must be able to drive to get to the site. The role is paying up to £29,500. Get in touch with Shaun at Questech to be considered
