Role: Criminology LecturerContract Type: Full-Time, TemporaryRate of pay: £30 - £33 per hourLocation: Greater ManchesterEden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Criminology Lecturer to join a leading Further Education College in the Greater Manchester area,This is a full time, temporary role where the successful candidate will teach BTEC Criminology to motivated students.You'll play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons, guiding students through complex topics, and supporting their academic progress as they prepare for careers in criminal justice, law, and related fields.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in BTEC Criminology
• Support students understanding of criminological concepts, research methods, and case studies
• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students, fostering a positive learning environment
• Develop lesson plans and course materials in line with BTEC requirements and standards
• Engage in collaborative curriculum planning and program reviews to enhance the quality of teaching

Essential Criteria:

• A degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a related field
• Teaching experience, ideally with Further Education or BTEC qualifications
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners
