Our client, a major provider of Facilities Management services to the public sector, are seeking a Group Social Value Manager to join their team.

The Social Value Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to create and enhance social value within the organisation’s projects and operations.

The role focuses on delivering positive community impact, ensuring compliance with Social Value legislation, and driving initiatives that promote economic, environmental, and social well-being.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize the company’s contribution to society, aligned with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the social value strategies for Public Sector clients, aligning it with the organisation’s overall CSR and ESG objectives.
  • Establish and track measurable goals for social value performance and monitor progress.
  • Build strong relationships with local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and business partners to enhance the social value of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Procurement/Warehouse, HR, and Sustainability) to integrate Social Value into business practices.
  • Organise and lead community engagement activities, volunteering programs, and outreach initiatives.
  • Provide monthly reporting metrics in line with TOMS calculator


What are we looking for?


  • Proven work experience in a social value, community engagement, or CSR role
  • Knowledge of Social Value frameworks such as Social Value Act, TOMs (Themes, Outcomes, and Measures), and SROI.
  • Experience working with Public Sector organisations
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, from community leaders to government officials.
  • Analytical skills to track, measure, and evaluate social value performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for community development.
