Senior Manager – Tax Transformation

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager in Tax Transformation, you’ll manage and deliver complex tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of broader finance transformation programs. You’ll help clients navigate tax requirements, implement tailored ERP and tax automation solutions, and build robust global tax frameworks that align with future digital compliance needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global and large-scale tax transformation projects from design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients to optimize ERP systems for tax purposes, including platforms like SAP S4 HANA, Oracle, and Workday.
  • Implement tax technology solutions, including VAT determination engines and tax reporting tools (e.g., Vertex O-Series, Thomson Reuters OneSource, Meridian).
  • Develop governance and process frameworks to support global tax compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals, including offshore resources.
  • Contribute to the development of service offerings and delivery models.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Significant experience in tax transformation, including tax process design and automation.
  • Expertise in ERP design and configuration for tax, with hands-on experience in platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Familiarity with tax processes such as indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale client engagements.
  • Experience with tax technology implementation, including requirements gathering and solution design.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
  • Qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or equivalent are advantageous, along with project management certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
