Title - Sales Executive

Location - Kingston Upon Thames

Role - Hybrid, 3 days in the office


Are you passionate about travel, adventure and love sales? We're seeking a dynamic and attention to detail orientated Sales Executive to join our team at TruTravels in Kingston. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to provide confidence and excitement to travellers who are about to travel out to destinations for the trip of a lifetime We’re looking for someone who is proactive, passionate about travel as well as sales and wants to combine their love of travel with work The successful applicant will be based in London and would be happy to be in the office in Kingston Upon Thames, 3 days per week.

What you’ll do


You will be our connector, creating that first and lasting impression on all customers. You’ll offer relentless customer service by building relationships with our travellers with the aim to simplify life and offer a hassle-free booking service. Your knowledge and passion create a bond with travellers that leaves them feeling confident and excited for their adventure of a lifetime.


As a Sales Executive in Tru, you’ll be the point of contact for prospective travellers, delivering exceptional customer service and guiding clients toward their dream tours. You’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue by connecting travellers with the most suitable tour options, assisting with last-minute bookings, and ensuring each customer enjoys a seamless experience.


Responsibilities:

Sales & Conversion:

Drive sales by matching travellers with the most suitable tours based on their interests and needs. Maximize conversion rates by actively managing inquiries and following up on leads promptly and professionally. Maintain a thorough understanding of weekly and monthly performance targets, working collaboratively with the team to achieve these goals.

Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for travellers, providing excellent support via phone, email, and live chat. Address inquiries with a professional and friendly approach, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with Operations:

Coordinate with the operations team to manage last-minute tour requests and secure bookings efficiently.

Communicate customer needs accurately to ensure a smooth and organized travel experience.

Pre-Tour Coordination: Ensure customers have all necessary tour information and documentation for a seamless pre-tour experience.

Promptly address any questions customers may have, providing clear and accurate information to enhance their trip preparation.

Marketing Support: Provide continuous feedback to the marketing team to ensure effective communication of key sales messages across social media and other channels.

Contribute insights on customer needs and preferences to help shape targeted marketing campaigns.

Continuous Improvement:

Commit to ongoing learning and improvement, staying informed about the latest trends in travel and sales. Proactively suggest process improvements and efficiencies to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.


Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in a travel sales role or similar position.

Passionate about travel, with a strong knowledge of our destinations.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

Proven track record in sales with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate across departments and contribute to various aspects of the business.
