As part of our continued corporate expansion, Hunt & Palmer is seeking to employ several aircraft charter brokers to enhance our existing Executive & Business Aviation team in the UK. Ideally candidates will have previous experience working as an aircraft charter broker however we are pleased to consider applicants with relevant commercial experience gained in an aviation or travel industry background,


The Role

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work for one of the most respected names in the aircraft charter business, arranging exclusive hire of private aircraft on behalf of our clients throughout the world. Make no mistake, we are not simply a booking service and each client requirement is uniquely personal to them and treated as such. Whether the enquirer is an individual or from a corporate travel office, an NGO or government department, it is your job to correctly identify from your interaction, exactly what the client needs to meet their objectives and then to use your knowledge, experience and expertise to find the best solutions available, negotiate the charter contract on their behalf with the aircraft operator and to facilitate the smooth running of the operation from start to finish. It doesn't end there however, you are also a client relationship manager, helping to build and maintain our portfolio of clients which may involve travel in the UK and overseas from time to time.

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional people who are accurate in their work and who perform well in challenging situations. In addition, an ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate;


  • Not less than 2 years’ experience working in a similar or related role
  • A strong work ethic and pride in a job well done  
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with clients and suppliers
  • The aptitude to thrive in in a fast moving and challenging environment
  • High standards of numeracy, written and spoken English
  • IT competency (Windows and MS Office 365/Word/Excel as a minimum)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to problem solving
