We are currently seeking a passionate Design & Technology Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Nottingham. In this Temp to Perm role, you will be responsible for Support in Practical Sessions, equipment maintenance, material management, technical support and maintaining health and safety procedures.
Support with the planning and preparation of Design & Technology lessons that cater to the abilities of all students.
Manage the inventory of materials and supplies, including ordering new items as needed.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inventory, and health and safety inspections.
Support students in their projects, offering guidance and troubleshooting help.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a secondary school or similar environment working as a Technician.
Training: in CAD Software and experience in creating digital designs.
This role is based in Nottingham, within a well-established secondary school. The school is easily accessible by public transport and offers a supportive working environment.
